Bullmastiff

A product of the crossing between Bulldogs and Mastiffs, the Bullmastiff is a popular member of the working group of dogs. With origins rooted in England dating back to the mid-1800s, the Bulldog was breed for strength, size, and speed—essential characteristics for any successful guard dog. Despite their knack for tackling intruders, the Bulldog is an exceptionally loyal and docile companion towards its loved ones and can be highly affectionate. Though guard dog training is not necessary for these natural protectors, proper socialization from early puppyhood is a must to ensure your Bullmastiff is well acclimated.

Male Bullmastiffs have a withers height between 25”-27” (64-69 cm) and a weight in the range of 110-130 lb (49.9-59 kg). Female Bullmastiffs have a withers height between 24”-26” (61-66 cm) and a weight in the range of 100-120 lb (45.4-54.4 kg). The Bullmastiff has an overall body length of roughly 40”-44.5” (102-113 cm), standing height of 30”-34” (76-86 cm), and a typical lifespan of 7-9 years.
