Description

Viktor Axelsen, born January 4, 1994, is a Danish badminton player. He was the 2017 World Champion and the bronze medalist at the 2016 Summer Olympics. Axelsen won the 2010 World Junior Championships, being the first ever European player to hold the title, and he was also crowned the European men’s singles champion in 2016 and 2018. His greatest strength is his offensive play with his steep and powerful smash. His cross court net shots and ability to cut off many push shots further strengthen his offensive play.
