Sayl Task Chair

The Sayl Task chair is futuristic chair with a elastomer open webbed back, inspired in part by the San Francisco Golden Gate Bridge, that provides flexible support and ventilation to the user. The Sayl Task Chair was designed by Yves Béhar in 2010, who saw the task of designing an office chair to be a formidable challenge because every piece to the chair needed to provide a tactile or structural purpose.

The Sayl Task Chair has an overall height of 34.25”-38.75” (87-98 cm), width of 24.5” (62 cm), and depth of 24.5” (62 cm). The seat height of the Sayl Task Chair is adjustable between 15.5”-20” (39-51 cm) with arms set at 24”-28.5” (61-72 cm) overall.
