After throwing a nine-dart finish and winning the 2006 World Masters, Dutch professional dart player, Michael van Gerwen established himself as a dominant figure in dart with many records such as being the youngest player to win a Professional Dart Corporation (PDC) Championship, becoming world number one after winning 2014, 2017, and 2019 PDC World Darts Championship, and holding the record for the highest three-dart average. He also has the most wins in a PDC Pro Tours at seventy-five and other awards like PDC Young Player of the Year, winning the premier league five times, the UK Open three times, Grand Slam three times, and a Champions League title.
