Ruth Bader Ginsberg is a Supreme Court Justice, confirmed to the court in 1993. Born in Brooklyn, New York in 1933, she earned a bachelor's degree at Cornell, and trained for her law degree at Harvard and Columbia, where she later graduated (first in her class). Ruth Bader Ginsburg advocated for the advancement of gender equality throughout her career, and won multiple victories in the Supreme Court. She is well liked for her progressive views and for her inexhaustible dissenting opinion. She now has a cult following, and is known affectionately as ‘The Notorious RBG’.
