Isaac Newton was an English physicist, astronomer, and theologist that is considered to be one of the most influential scientists of all time. Isaac Newton was also a key figure in the Scientific Revolution. He published his book, Mathematical Principles of Natural Philosophy in 1687. Isaac Newton’s contributions included formulating the laws of motion that shaped the scientific viewpoint of the time. Isaac Newton built the first practical reflecting telescope and developed the Theory of Color. Isaac Newton worked within the fields of Physics, Natural Philosophy, Alchemy, Theology, Mathematics, Astronomy, and Economics. Isaac Newton died on March 31, 1727 at the age of 84.
