Singapura Cat

The Singapura cat is a natural breed originating from Singapore and once was used as a tourism mascot for the country. Known to be one of the smallest breeds of cats, female adults can weigh as little as four pounds (up to eight for male). The Singapura cat is relatively stocky, short-haired, and well-muscled. It only comes in one color: a ticked beige coat pattern, and is distinguishable by its pointed ears and large eyes. Although this cat may be soft spoken and small in size, it is known to be very extroverted and maintain its kitten-like playful attitude into adulthood.

The typical Singapura has an overall height of 6.0”-8.0” (15-20 cm) and body length of 9.0”-12.0” (23-30 cm). An average Singapura weighs between 4-8 lb (2-5 kg) and has a typical lifespan of 11-15 years.
