Platner Stool

The Platner Stool is a stool created from a plush circular seat set atop a throne of curved metal wiring. The Platner Stool is available in many different types of upholstery and requires over one thousand welds to be created. Warren Platner designed this chair in 1962 and hoped to demonstrate that graceful, decorative, Louis XV-esque furniture can be modern too.

The Platner Stool has an overall height of 23” (58 cm) and diameter of 15.25” (39 cm).
