Jyn Erso

Jyn Erso is a fictional criminal-turned-Resistance-hero in the Star Wars movies and extended franchise. Usually a solo flyer, she is reluctant part of the Resistance’s team, but passionate about the cause. The daughter of an engineer recruited by the Empire against his will, she is a talented warrior and resourceful spy. Her lasting legacy is her theft of the Death Star plans just before her death, that eventually allowed the Rebel Alliance to take down the Death Star before the Empire conquered the entire galaxy. Thanks to her sacrifice, the Rebel Alliance was able to keep the Empire at bay.
