Description

Bjarke Ingels is one of the world’s leading architects. He became well known in the world of architecture after designing two housing complexes in Denmark, taking inspiration from Le Corbusier. He founded his company, BIG, in 2006, and since then has gone on to design and construct some of the most recognizable contemporary buildings in the world.

His projects include the 8-house housing complex in Copenhagen, the Google North Bayshore headquarters and Superkilen Park in Copenhagen. He is known for his big and bold architectural designs that incorporate aspects of modernism and postmodernism. He was commissioned to design 2 World Trade Center in Manhattan.
