Beer Pong Tables - Large

Large Beer Pong Tables are wider than average tables used for playing beer pong. Typically designed and used in settings that don’t require the tables to be easily transportable, large beer pong tables are often found in personal homes, college fraternities and sororities, and bars. Because of the personal nature of these larger beer pong tables they are painted and customized by their owners. Like official beer pong tables, large beer pong tables are 8’ (2.44 m) long and 27.5” (70 cm) tall with variable widths between 4’-5’ (1.2-1.5 m). The standard distance between the front two cups in a 10 cup game is roughly 65” (165 cm).

Common Questions
How long is a beer pong table?
Official beer pong tables have an overall length of 8’ (244 cm). In a 10 cup game of beer pong, the opponent’s front cup is 6’ 8.5” (204 cm) from the end of the table. In a 6 cup game of beer pong, the opponent’s front cup is 6’ 11.5” (212 cm) from the end of the table.
How do you play beer pong?
A game of beer pong is played with two teams throwing ping pong balls (table tennis balls) into the opposing team’s cups. When a cup is made, a player on the team must drink the contents and remove the cup. The game is finished when a team successfully removes all of the other team’s cups.

Who invented beer pong?
No one person is credited with inventing beer pong as the game was created as a variant of Beirut. In a game of Beirut, players use table tennis paddles to hit balls into cups. Beer pong evolved out of Beirut during the 70s and 80s when the popularity of basketball inspired players to throw the ping pong balls into cups instead of using paddles.
How do you set up a game of beer pong?
Beer pong games are setup as either 6 cup or 10 cup games. Each team must organize their cups in a triangle formation at their end of the table. Two additional cups filled with water (water cups) should be included to clean the ping pong balls between throws.
