Stranger Things is a science fiction and horror television series created for Netflix by the Duffer Brothers. Known for paying homage to the 1980s through nostalgic pop-cultural references, Stranger Things takes place in the fictional town of Hawkins, Indiana and features a cast of young children trying to unravel mysteries emanating from a series of interconnected supernatural events. Stranger Things has received much acclaim for balancing horror, humor, drama, mystery, and childhood wonder with a diverse ensemble cast of relatable characters. Currently on its third season set in 1985, Stranger Things is planned to end after four or five seasons.
Demogorgons are the sixth and final form of the Demogorgon creature in the Netflix television series Stranger Things. Arriving at the mature Demogorgon stage in roughly a week, Demogorgons are bipedal monsters with evident physical strength, tracking abilities, and resilience against gunfire and physical attacks. Demogorgons are able to move through inter-dimensional gateways between the Upside Down and Hawkins and can perform basic telekinetic abilities. Like other creatures from the Upside Down, Demogorgons are part of the Mind Flayer’s hive mind and act violently under his orders. Demogorgons grow to a broad range of mature heights that vary between 6’-10’ (1.83-3.05 m).
Demodogs are the fifth form of a Demogorgon in the Netflix television series Stranger Things. Roughly resembling the size and scale of a typical large dog, demodogs are predatory creatures that obey the commands of the Mind Flayer. Adolescent demodogs are not as resilient or powerful as their final Demogorgon form, but they are strong enough to tackle adult humans and resilient enough to withstand light gunfire. Demodogs are adept at digging and climbing and often hunt in packs. Demodogs vary in size with typical withers heights between 26”-32” (66-80 cm) and overall lengths in the range of 45”-54” (114-137 cm).
